We could've been walking on water
We could've been swimming in the sky
We could've known how to cross borders
We could've stayed high
You said we'd meet right by the river
Under the oak tree in the garden of Mr Lo
The garden of Mr Lo
Still we wait but now we shiver
You made a promise you'd know just how we'd move on
Just how we'd move on
We could've been walking on water
We could've been swimming in the sky
We could've known how to cross borders
We could've stayed high
We will love we will deliver
Find a prophet abandon ship and hope
Abandon ship and hope
If there's a whore we will forgive her
Over the rainbow we'll turn our dreams to gold
To gold
We could've been walking on water
We could've been swimming in the sky
We could've known how to cross borders
We could've stayed high
On a Sunday morning
When the sun still shines
All our dreams will rise
Watch the sea the rain fall
Watch the children smile
We could have their eyes

God fuckin' dammit, this was freakin' awesome! A sweet variety of influences and sounds wrapped in a dark, atmospheric veil. This could well be the single time my native language (greek) tied in perfectly in a predominantly english-sung tune. Will probably invest in the beautifully packaged vinyl as soon as possible.
Stand out tracks: the sexy, rockabilly-tinged Lilith, the Cult-meets-Cash-meets-Doors anthem Horse Dark as Night and the meaningful If We Were Blind. Excellent! Solarized
